"Dr. Patel is a true professional dedicated to the patient experience. Dr. Patel and her staff always make me feel at home. Every time I come to the office there is some new technology that she has implemented to the office. She is always on top of the latest dental trends and procedures, I would not go anywhere else for my dental care."
"Mini laser beam teeth cleaner! X Rays and pictures and before/after pictures of my first cleaning displayed on a tv right in front of me while I was sitting in the chair. They were super aware and concerned about my mouth sensitivity and any other concerns I had about what was about to happen. I especially enjoyed the cleaning procedure. Not a lot of manual scraping on my teeth with metal hook tools like I would use to clean engine parts. They used a little pressure washer and made an amazing difference."
"I just completed an Invisalign treatment with Dr. Patel at PDL. Every visit has been top notch, but I didn't want to write this review until I finished my treatment. I can now fully recommend PDL, and I have nothing but good things to say! The results I received with my Invisalign were better than I even expected. Prior to the treatment, I had a consultation with Dr. Patel where she really understood what I was looking to achieve. I didn't feel any sort of judgment or questioning for my smile goals - just engagement and the facts! My treatment was short (only about 3 months), which differs patient to patient. However, because this office uses Propel and the Acceledent, I got results much faster. This is all included in the cost quoted upfront. I am honestly kicking myself for not visiting them sooner! I would hands down recommend PDL for Invisalign treatment in the Triangle. You'll get the results you want as easily as possible, with no unexpected costs or fees."
Seeing the dentist doesn’t need to be stressful. We’ll put your heart at ease with sedation options that include Oral Conscious Sedation (laughing gas) and IV Sedation.
Sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder that can greatly increase a patient’s risk for heart attack and stroke. During sleep the air passage becomes temporarily blocked causing breathing to stop several times throughout the night. Common symptoms include snoring, high blood pressure, weight issues, and daytime tiredness.
While traditional approaches typically include an uncomfortable and inconvenient CPAP machine, we use an FDA approved device that is more like simple mouthguards used in athletics. This personalized oral appliance keeps the jaw in a forward position while you sleep, allowing your airway to remain open for an uninterrupted, better night’s sleep. It is small, portable, quiet, comfortable, and highly effective. The result is a good night’s sleep leads to more energy throughout the day as well as increased mental focus and clarity. Many patients (and their spouses) find treatment to be a lifesaver.
